Direction Turning Film (DTF)

Luminit’s Direction Turning Film is a powerful solution for engineers and lighting designers needing advanced control over beam direction. Featuring asymmetrical microprismatic structures embedded in a durable film, DTF can redirect beams 20° off axis—ideal for recessed downlighting, wall washing, and pathway illumination. This film enhances both aesthetic and functional lighting by redistributing light toward desired surfaces, improving visibility and energy efficiency. In display applications like avionics, DTF ensures both pilot and co-pilot receive optimal viewing angles. Available on .010” polycarbonate for heat resistance and durability.
Round Tip Display (RTD)
Brightness Enhancement with Rugged Durability
Our Round-Tip Display film enhances display brightness by 30–40% by efficiently recycling light that would otherwise be lost. The rounded prismatic structure improves robustness compared to sharp-tip alternatives, minimizing contamination risks in display environments. Embossed on a high-durability 10 mil polycarbonate substrate, RTD is ideal for high-temperature and high-reliability display applications. The film is available with or without an integrated diffuser, offering stack simplification and reduced component count in display assemblies.
